Please note that our upcoming meet-up will take place on:

Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 1:30 PM
Location: River Park South
110 Creek Bend Road, Winnipeg

This new venue is conveniently located just off St. Anne’s Road, very close to the Perimeter Highway, and is easy to access from all directions.

  • From the south Perimeter: Turn onto St. Anne’s Road heading into Winnipeg. Creek Bend Road is the first right turn.
  • From within the city: Take St. Anne’s Road south; Creek Bend Road is the last left turn before reaching the Perimeter.
  • If you’re not sure just google it.

Admission and Parking:
Entry is free for all attendees. Parking is also free—please use the designated visitor stalls.

Venue Details:
The meeting room is located just off the main-level entrance. There is no need to buzz for access—patio gates and meeting room doors will be open, so you can enter directly through the patio.

The space will include:

  • A finds table
  • A coffee and food table
  • Access to a microwave and Keurig machine

Feel free to bring snacks to share with the group.

Event Highlights:
This spring, instead of a guest speaker, we’ll be inviting members to share their favorite metal detecting stories.

We will also have a demonstration of Google Lens, an identification tool. Be sure to bring along any items you’ve found but haven’t been able to identify—we’ll try to figure them out together.

And don’t forget to bring a few items for the Finds Table!

No RSVP is required—just remember the new location and feel free to bring a friend.

We look forward to seeing you there.
